Position: Vauxhall Regular Assistant - Support Role

Become a Regular Assistant at Vauxhall High School, where you will provide essential support to students in a nurturing environment. This role focuses on enhancing their educational experience.

Vauxhall High School is on the lookout for two committed Educational Assistants for approximately 26 hours a week. This role involves working directly with Junior and Senior students, offering both group and individualized educational support under the guidance of the Learning Support Teacher. Creating meaningful relationships with students and staff is key to ensuring a productive learning atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate academic support in a small group setting

• Maintain safety and supervision of students

• Assist students with personal care as needed

• Promote positive social interactions among peers

• Collaborate with the educational team for effective support

Requirements:

• Confidentiality and professionalism required

• Familiarity with personal care tasks is an asset

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Legal age for a Criminal Records Check is mandatory
