Location: Hammonds Plains

Passionate about childhood development? Kids & Company is seeking an Early Childhood Educator for a maternity leave contract until October 2027 to shape young minds through an Emergent Curriculum.

In this rewarding role, you will implement individual development plans, document daily activities, and support children's emotional and physical growth. Collaborate with professionals, maintain safety and compliance standards, and actively participate in team environments to enhance learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement an Emergent Curriculum for individual development

• Maintain daily documentation of activities and attendance

• Support emotional, cognitive, physical, and behavioral growth

• Collaborate with therapists for individualized support

• Ensure health and safety compliance in classroom settings

Requirements:

• Valid Nova Scotia ECE license

• Clear Vulnerable Sector Check and Child Abuse Registry

• Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (Level B or

C)

• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs
