GNS is eager to welcome an Art Teacher to guide middle and senior school students through their artistic journeys. In a dynamic IB-accredited environment, you'll leverage diverse artistic mediums and inquiry-based learning strategies.
Your role will emphasize student-centered education and foster an inclusive atmosphere for all artistic voices.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead art classes with engaging, hands-on projects
• Encourage creative risk-taking and experimentation
• Display student work through community exhibitions
• Collaborate with colleagues and contribute to a thriving arts department
• Promote a supportive, caring classroom focus
Requirements:
• Valid BC teaching certificate required
• Experience in teaching Art at middle/senior levels
• Knowledge in MYP or DP Art preferred
• Experience in project-based learning environments
• Dedication to building strong student relationships
