Torrance High School Student Discipline Leader

Location: Parry Sound South Shore (Kilworthy)

Serve as the Student Discipline Leader in Torrance Unified School District, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all high school students. Implement attendance strategies and discipline policies with expertise.

In the role of Dean of Students, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of student discipline protocols while working closely with building administrators. Your efforts will focus on engaging with students, parents, and community resources to maintain a conducive educational environment. Regular monitoring of student progress will allow you to identify and support at-risk individuals effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Enforce student discipline consistently across the school

• Address disciplinary referrals and implement corrective actions

• Collaborate with parents concerning attendance and behavior

• Gather data to support at-risk student interventions

• Supervise students during lunch and school hours

Requirements:

• Master’s degree required for this role

• Valid California Administrative Credential

• Strong background in educational leadership and youth organizations

• Relevant teaching experience in K-12 education

• Ability to communicate well with diverse student populations
