Support high school students as a Summer Educational Assistant at Holy Trinity High School. This role focuses on special education programming for the summer term, offering essential academic support.

Fort McMurray Catholic Schools seeks a dedicated Educational Assistant for summer school specialized education programs. You will be responsible for assisting students academically, particularly in English and Social Studies for grades 10-12. Candidates must have relevant experience and educational qualifications in supporting diverse learning needs. Additional duties may include assisting in Math and Science as required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students in English and Social Studies curriculum

• Implement behaviour management strategies effectively

• Collaborate with teachers and multidisciplinary teams

• Assist students with Autism or complex medical needs

• Observe and communicate student progress positively

Requirements:

• Educational Assistant Certificate or Diploma

• Experience supporting high school curriculum (10-12)

• Strong understanding of diverse learning needs

• Familiarity with adaptive learning technologies

• NVCI certification preferred
