Job Overview
Chinook’s Edge School Division invites applications for a full‑time teaching position on the Integrated Student Support Team, effective the first day of the school year to June 30, 2027. This role supports schools through a division‑wide learning model focused on building staff capacity in inclusion, complex student needs, differentiation, social‑emotional regulation, and student support. Working alongside Student Support Leads, school teams, and Integrated Student Support Team members, the teacher provides coaching, professional learning, modelling, and implementation support to help schools develop sustainable practices that promote student success.
The successful candidate will have strong knowledge of inclusive education, collaborative problem‑solving, and capacity‑building approaches. Preference will be given to candidates with 5+ years of teaching experience.
Responsibilities
Provide coaching, professional learning, modelling, and implementation support to school teams.
Assist in developing sustainable inclusive practices that promote student success.
Facilitate evidence‑based practices for diverse learners.
Collaborate with educators to build capacity in inclusive education, complex student needs, differentiation, and social‑emotional regulation.
Qualifications
High School Teacher Certificate in Alberta (or equivalent).
Valid Alberta Teacher Certificate.
Strong knowledge of inclusive education, collaborative problem‑solving, and capacity‑building approaches.
5+ years of teaching experience preferred.
Required to provide a criminal record check and a vulnerable sector check.
