Enhance student support systems as a School Counsellor with teaching responsibilities at Laval High School in Placentia. This full-time position starts September 8, 2026, and aims at fostering holistic student development.

As a key member of Laval High School's service delivery team, you'll create and manage a comprehensive guidance program. By implementing effective interventions, you'll provide leadership to staff while addressing the educational and psychosocial needs of students within the community.

Your role is pivotal in promoting inclusivity and managing student wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement holistic guidance approaches for student development

• Lead staff training and support educational initiatives

• Conduct evaluations and intervene in crises

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Education and Master’s in Counseling

• NL Teaching Certificate - Level IV or higher

• Proven counselling experience and data utilization
