Become an Instructional Resource Teacher at Morris Academy, starting September 8, 2026. This permanent, full-time role is focused on delivering customized learning experiences for all students.

As an Instructional Resource Teacher in Mount Pearl, you will support a broad range of student needs through individualized teaching strategies and collaboration with educators and families.

Your role will encompass academic intervention and social-emotional support aimed at enhancing student independence and motivation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans

• Assess student development using diverse methodologies

• Maintain a safe and engaging learning environment

• Foster partnerships with families and community partners

• Engage in continuous professional development

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education and Special Education

• NL Teaching Certificate Level IV or higher

• Proven understanding of educational assessment processes

• Knowledge of diverse instructional planning

• Ability to reflect on and improve teaching practices
