Part-Time Applied Design Teacher Position

Join Daaxiigan Sḵ'adáa Née K-12 School as a Part-Time Applied Design Teacher beginning September 1, 2026. This role emphasizes technology education, woodwork, and fostering student engagement in learning.

As an experienced educator, you will bring a teaching major in technology education and a commitment to the Truth and Reconciliation Commission's Calls to Action. You’ll implement creative and inclusive educational programs while leveraging multi-grade classroom experience to support all learners' diverse challenges. Collaboration with school teams to design and evaluate Individual Education Plans is a key component of this role.

• Manage a supportive and engaging classroom environment

• Create a nurturing and inclusive atmosphere for students

Requirements:

• Relevant university teaching major required

• Commitment to equity in education practices

• Experience with diverse learning needs

• Proven ability to work collaboratively

• Valid Teacher Regulation Branch certification
