Integrated Student Support Teacher Position

Location: Central Foothills (Sundre)

Chinook’s Edge School Division seeks a full-time Integrated Student Support Teacher for the  school year. This position promotes inclusion, complex student needs, and social-emotional regulation across schools.

This teaching role focuses on capacity building through collaboration with student support leads and school teams. With a strong commitment to inclusive education, you'll facilitate professional learning and provide coaching to enhance sustainable student support practices. Your skills in relationship building and implementation of evidence-based practices will shape diverse learning environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with school teams for effective coaching

• Facilitate professional learning about inclusion and differentiation

• Support implementation of evidence-based practices

• Strengthen relationships within the learning community

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teacher Certificate required

• 5+ years of teaching experience preferred

• Skills in adult collaboration and problem solving

• Strong communication and relationship-building abilities

• Background checks needed for employment
