Educational Assistant at Riverton School

Location: Watson Lake

Shape student success as an Educational Assistant with EVERGREEN SCHOOL DIVISION at Riverton Early Middle School. This 5.75-hour daily role focuses on academic and social support from 9 AM to 3:30 PM.

Starting September 8, 2026, this regular position seeks dedicated individuals with relevant experience and training. You will assist in academic support, communication activities, and individualized programming while ensuring student safety during daily routines. A Para Educator Certificate or equivalent is desirable to enhance student learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically and socially

• Assist with communication and speech-language activities

• Help implement individualized student programs

• Supervise students and assist daily routines

• Contribute to library support, including acquisitions

Requirements:

• Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent

• Para Educator Certificate desired

• Relevant training in behavior management

• Demonstrate strong computer and technology skills

• Ability to provide individual support for mobility needs
