Aurora Virtual School is searching for a full-time Educational Assistant for the academic year from August 20, 2026, to June 11, 2027. This role focuses on providing personalized support to high school students who require adapted learning experiences. Ideal candidates will have relevant qualifications and experience working with equity-deserving students and in different educational environments.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist students with academic work and recreational programming

• Support cultural programming and facilitate student transportation

• Collaborate with teachers and parents for effective communication

• Participate in outdoor field trips and on-the-land activities

• Adapt to various assignments and learning outcomes

Requirements:

• Grade 12 graduation or equivalent

• Class 5 driver’s license with a clean record

• Post-secondary training in education or related fields

• Experience with online learning platforms like Moodle

• Successful completion of security clearance
