Become a vital part of W̱SÁNEĆ Leadership Secondary School as a Level 2 Education Assistant. This role focuses on supporting students with diverse needs through educational and behavioral strategies.

The Education Assistant (Level
2) position is crucial for delivering targeted services to students with moderate to severe disabilities. You'll implement individualized education programs while collaborating closely with teachers and supporting students in small groups or one-on-one settings. Your adaptability will be key, as you may be reassigned based on student needs throughout the school year.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver educational support to students with various disabilities

• Assist in implementing individualized education programs

• Manage behavioral support strategies effectively

• Collaborate with teachers and the Learning Support Team

• Adapt to changing operational needs and student requirements

Requirements:

• Grade 12 and teaching assistant certificate or diploma

• One year of relevant experience in support roles

• Valid First Aid and CPR certification

• Criminal Record Check required

• BC Class 5 Driver's License may be needed
