Position: Speech-Language Assistant Role at UCDSB
Location: South Leeds and Grenville United Counties (Prescott)

Assist students in overcoming speech challenges as a Speech-Language Assistant with the Upper Canada District School Board. Deliver customized programs in a supportive educational environment.

Your role , under the oversight of experienced professionals, will involve creating and implementing tailored language and articulation interventions for students. You will collaborate with teachers and Speech-Language Pathologists across various schools, continuously monitoring student progress. Upholding the confidentiality of sensitive student information is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized articulation and language programs

• Collaborate with teachers and support staff effectively

• Track student goals and document outcomes

• Work under clinical supervision of licensed professionals

• Ensure confidentiality of student-related information

Requirements:

• Two-year Community College Program in social or human sciences

• Three years of relevant children’s language development experience

• Training recognized by the UCDSB or certified professionals

• A valid driver’s license and ability to commute

• Equivalency in education and experience may be considered
