Location: Tignish
Join Centreville Academy as a Student Assistant, focusing on supporting students with severe behavioral and cognitive challenges. This role is permanent and requires 5 hours of commitment each day.
In this essential position, you will assist students dealing with significant cognitive and physical needs. Ideal candidates will have completed high school and possess relevant training in Child Development or Special Education.
Experience with children in a work environment is highly favored, alongside First Aid and crisis intervention certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support students with cognitive and behavioral challenges
Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Early Childhood Education or Special Education training
• Experience working with children in any setting
• Certified in First Aid and Crisis Intervention
• Strong interpersonal skills for student engagement
Contribute to the growth of students needing unique support at Centreville Academy.
