Position Overview
St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Schools invites applications for a temporary full‑time Grade 2 teaching position hony School in Drayton Valley, Alberta. The position will begin August 26, 2026 and end June 30, 2027.
Key Responsibilities
Teach Grade 2 students in a full‑time capacity.
Assist in the school's co‑curricular and extra‑curricular programs.
Qualifications
Certificate in Catholic Education from St. Joseph’s College (asset).
Ability to work for 10 consecutive months in Drayton Valley to qualify for Student Loan Forgiveness, up to $30,000 over five years.
Application Requirements
Applicants must submit a resume with two reference letters; a pastoral reference is an asset but not required. A current (within 6 months) Criminal Record Check inclusive of a vulnerable sector check and a current Alberta Children’s Services Intervention Record Check are required.
