Join the Algonquin and Lakeshore Catholic District School Board as a Chaplaincy Leader, a full-time role committed to supporting the Catholic faith within the school community. In this position, you'll engage in faith-based activities, pastoral support, and community building.

This full-time Chaplaincy Leader role is based at Nicholson Catholic College in Belleville, Ontario, and begins on September 1, 2026. You'll be responsible for planning liturgical events, counseling, and helping to foster relationships among the school, home, and parish. Your deep commitment to Catholic values and leadership skills will play a vital role in enriching the spiritual life of students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead faith-based activities and services

• Provide pastoral support to students and staff

• Foster relationships between school, home, and parish

• Deliver counseling for emotional and spiritual guidance

• Collaborate with the principal on ministry initiatives

Requirements:

• Diploma or Certificate in Religious Ministry

• Minimum three years in Chaplaincy or related experience

• Active involvement in Catholic parish work

• Strong communication and leadership skills

• Knowledge of Catholic Liturgy and Teaching
