Position: Full-Time Educational Assistant at Lathom
Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

Support young learners as a full-time Educational Assistant at Lathom Colony School. Engage with students in grades kindergarten to three, delivering tailored learning experiences and fostering academic success.

The Colony Educational Assistant will work closely with the Colony Principal and Teacher to design lesson plans for a diverse classroom environment. This role requires a flexible individual with at least 2 years of educational experience, strong organizational skills, and the ability to assist with social and behavioral needs. Collaboration and independence are essential to meet the challenges of daily instruction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver inclusive educational instruction

• Implement targeted programs for struggling students

• Support student interactions and positive behavior

• Maintain a stimulating and organized classroom

• Communicate student progress and engage with parents

Requirements:

• High School diploma required

• 2+ years in education setting preferred

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Understanding of educational dynamics with youth

• Clear Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check
