Enhance educational success as a part-time Student Success and Engagement Coach for the Fort Vermilion School Division. Focus on cultural connectivity while supporting First Nations students and families at Rocky Lane School.

The Fort Vermilion School Division seeks a 0.5 FTE coach to strengthen the bonds between students, families, and schools. This role emphasizes improving school attendance and fostering positive behaviors in an inclusive environment. You will support students in exploring educational and career pathways through specialized programming.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate engagement for identified students and families

• Assist in overcoming barriers to student success

• Support students in educational and career exploration

• Develop and deliver cultural programming

• Promote awareness of cultural identity in schools

Requirements:

• Post-secondary education in related fields or equivalent experience

• Commitment to student and family success

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively

• Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel

• Ongoing learning about First Nations culture
