NSCC seeks an Academic Chair at the Cumberland Campus to guide Health and Human Services programs while ensuring exceptional quality in academic offerings. This role emphasizes leadership and operational oversight.

This continuing full-time position, beginning on or around August 1, 2026, requires an undergraduate degree in education or a related field, alongside at least seven years of relevant experience. Candidates should showcase at least five years in a formal leadership role, backed by solid supervisory skills and proficiency in digital tools to support student engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drive quality in Academic Upgrading and Health programs

• Manage daily operations of daycare services

• Engage with Campus and School teams to enhance learning

• Leverage local sector relationships for program relevance

• Strategize effective resource management for programs

Requirements:

• Minimum graduate degree in relevant field preferred

• 7 years of progressive educational experience

• 5 years of supervisory or management engagement

• Familiarity with learning management systems

• Strong commitment to community and student inclusivity
