Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Enhance the educational journey of students as a Holistic School Counsellor at White Hills Academy, St. Anthony. This role emphasizes supportive and inclusive educational practices.

The position is shared with Truman Eddison Memorial and James Cook Memorial, effective from September 2, 2025, to February 13, 2026, or until the current Counsellor's return from maternity leave. You will develop a comprehensive guidance program, implement diverse assessments, and lead critical incident responses. Your commitment is essential in promoting a safe, caring learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design annual comprehensive school guidance programs

• Provide individual and group counseling

• Conduct and analyze student assessments

• Participate in emergency response planning

• Collaborate to foster student diversity and development

Requirements:

• Bachelor in Education and Master’s in Counseling Psychology

• Experience with psychological assessments

• Strong grasp of child protection legislation

• Superior communication and conflict resolution skills

• Dedication to continuous personal development
