Become a Behaviour Intervention Mentor at Nackawic Senior High School, specializing in enhancing student behaviour support strategies this upcoming school year. This is a 36.25-hour weekly commitment.

Under the guidance of the principal as part of the Education Support Services Team, you will focus on implementing evidence-based interventions to assist students facing behavioural challenges.

Your role will also include mentoring teachers in effective tier 1 strategies and fostering collaboration among various educational professionals. This position is key to ensuring a supportive learning environment that promotes student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualised behaviour intervention services

• Support teachers with evidence-based strategies

• Collaborate with school psychologists and community workers

• Conduct workshops for staff on behaviour management

• Participate in development of comprehensive intervention plans

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, or education

• Competence in behaviour management strategies

• Experience in crisis intervention desirable

• Proven ability to mentor educational staff

• Must provide a criminal record clearance
