Become an integral part of Glenmary School as a Full-Time Educational Assistant starting August 27, 2026. Support both individual and group learning while promoting cultural awareness within the classroom.

This probationary role in Peace River, Alberta, requires collaboration with teachers to meet varied student needs. Ideal candidates should possess knowledge of Indigenous culture to foster strong relationships with Indigenous students. Responsibilities include assisting in academic support, addressing health needs, and promoting social and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work with students facing learning and behavioral challenges

• Provide personal support and health assistance when needed

• Assist in classroom duties and support individualized academic needs

• Offer tutorial help to English Language Learners

• Complete additional tasks as assigned by teachers

Requirements:

• Teacher Assistant Diploma or equivalent preferred

• Strong professionalism and communication skills

• Ability to support individualized learning programs

• Proficiency with technology use

• Criminal Record and Intervention Checks required
