Become the bridge between families and schools with Prairie Valley School Division as a part-time School Outreach Liaison. Help enhance student success from the Balcarres Community School campus through effective communication and community engagement.

In this permanent part-time position, starting August 26, 2026, you will engage with students and families to foster a sense of belonging and support connectivity with educational resources. Your responsibilities involve facilitating communication, fostering participation in school activities, and navigating cultural differences within the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate home-school relationships to enhance student attendance

• Provide outreach support through communication and home visits

• Assist students in accessing academic and emotional support

• Collaborate with educators to organize school programs

• Attend community events to strengthen outreach efforts

Requirements:

• Diploma in human services or relevant experience

• Minimum three years working with children and youth

• Strong interpersonal skills and cultural awareness

• Excellent problem-solving abilities

• Effective communication and organizational skills
