Location: Northwest Newfoundland/Eastern Labrador (Mary's Harbour)

Become an ADST 5P00 instructor in Burlington, Ontario, starting September 1, 2026. This role involves both in-person and online teaching, emphasizing an engaged learning environment.

We are seeking an experienced instructor with a completed PhD in Disability Studies or similar. You will manage scheduled contact time, office hours, and student support while preparing lectures and grading. Your proven online teaching skills will be vital for both synchronous and asynchronous instruction formats, catering to diverse learning needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Schedule and conduct lectures and student consultations

• Prepare and grade assignments and manage course administration

• Offer office hours for personalized student support

• Attend department meetings via video conference as needed

• Facilitate applied research with students in disabilities

Requirements:

• PhD in Disability Studies, Psychology, or related field

• Proven academic teaching and leadership experience

• Experience with online platforms like Brightspace

• Knowledge of video conferencing tools like Microsoft Teams

• Flexibility for daytime and evening teaching
