The Lac La Ronge Indian Band is seeking a qualified Social Worker to implement programs that cater to the emotional and academic success of students. The ideal candidate has experience in school settings and excels in interpersonal communication. You will develop counseling programs, maintain student records, and foster positive relationships with students and parents in La Ronge, SK.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop emotional counseling programs for students

• Provide guidance to ensure student academic success

• Communicate school policies to families and students

• Monitor student attendance and conduct home visits

• Maintain confidential student files professionally

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work or related field

• Experience in a school environment required

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Valid Saskatchewan Driver’s license needed

• Must provide Driver’s Abstract and Criminal Record Check
