The Nunavut Department of Education seeks a Vice-Principal committed to building positive relationships and fostering inclusivity. The ideal candidate will have at least two years of leadership experience, focusing on instructional improvement and community collaboration.

Your role will be central in promoting literacy and respecting Inuit Societal Values to elevate student success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate on literacy development and school priorities

• Foster a safe and inclusive school climate

• Engage with families and community partners effectively

• Assist in operational management and student support

• Lead initiatives for professional learning and coaching

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree essential

• Valid teaching certificate for Nunavut

• Minimum 2 years in a school leadership role

• At least 5 years of classroom teaching

• Experience with bilingual and culturally relevant education
