Join Good Shepherd School as a Maternelle Teacher starting August 2026. This full-time role focuses on nurturing kindergarten students in a French Immersion setting.

HFCRD invites applications for a full-time Maternelle Teacher for the  school year. Your primary responsibility will be to facilitate French language education in a kindergarten homeroom. You will assist in creating customized educational plans tailored to each student's learning style and needs, enriching their educational experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach a full-day French Immersion Kindergarten class

• Create personalized learning plans for students

• Provide accommodations and support for all learners

• Engage in K-6 collaboration and additional duties

• Keep abreast of educational technology tools for the classroom

Requirements:

• Proficiency in spoken and written French

• Alberta teaching certification required

• Strong background in literacy and numeracy education

• Familiarity with inclusive and Indigenous pedagogies preferred

• Commitment to rural living and team collaboration
