Position: EIPS Athletic Director and Teacher (Sherwood Park)
Location: Sherwood Park West

Overview  Pursue excellence at Elk Island Public Schools as an Athletic Director and Teacher. Engage students through Physical Education and Foods classes while leading athletic initiatives. Elk Island Public Schools is looking for a passionate Athletic Director and Teacher for Ardrossan Junior Senior High. This role includes teaching Physical Education for both Junior and Senior grades and overseeing Senior High CTS/Food curricula.

The ideal candidate will enrich the student experience through effective management and a data-driven approach to teaching.
Responsibilities   Direct Junior and Senior High Physical Education classes
Oversee Senior High CTS/Food programming
Promote student safety and engagement in classrooms
Analyze educational data to enhance lesson effectiveness
Collaborate with fellow educators and staff
Qualifications   Bachelor of Education degree required
Hold a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate
Preference for Class 2 license with S Endorsement
Solid skills in organization and classroom management
Excellent written and verbal communication
Lead student achievement and athletic excellence at Ardrossan Junior Senior High with Elk Island Public Schools.
