Position: Athletic Director at Elk Island Public Schools
Location: Sherwood Park West

Elevate student engagement as an Athletic Director and Teacher at Elk Island Public Schools, Ardrossan Junior Senior High. This role focuses on teaching Physical Education and managing CTS/Food curricula.

As an Athletic Director and Teacher, you will guide both Junior and Senior High Physical Education classes while overseeing Senior High CTS/Food programming. Your effective management and commitment to data-driven teaching will help enrich the student learning experience and ensure safety and engagement in classrooms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Direct Junior and Senior High Physical Education lessons

• Oversee Senior High CTS/Food programming effectively

• Promote student safety and engagement across classes

• Analyze educational data for improved lesson effectiveness

• Collaborate with educators and school staff for success

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education degree required

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate essential

• Preference for Class 2 license with S Endorsement

• Strong organizational and classroom management skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
