Position: 0.787 FTE (term) Grade 7-12 classroom teacher, Crawford Bay Elementary Secondary School
Location: East Kootenays (Fernie)

Crawford Bay Elementary-Secondary School is looking for a 0.787 FTE (term) classroom teacher for grades 7-12. The assignment focuses on Math and Science (linear), French and Spanish (taught in semesters), and Outdoor Education, Music and Shop (taught in trimesters). The position also includes coverage of grade K-3 music and ADST prep, grades 3-5 music and French, and grades 5‑7 music and French.

Responsibilities
Teach the specified subjects across the indicated grade levels and provide the coverage duties listed above.

Qualifications & Requirements
Applicants must be certified in British Columbia with a Professional Teaching Certificate, or be eligible for certification by the start date of the assignment.

Salary
Salary Range $68,589 - $114,833 per year, in accordance with the current SD8–Kootenay Lake / KLTF Collective Agreement. Placement on the salary grid is based on qualifications and years of teaching experience as evaluated by the BC Teacher Qualification Service (TQS).
