Position: English Teacher for Grades 9-12
Location: Dawson City

F.H. Collins Secondary in Whitehorse is seeking an English Teacher for grades 9-12 to deliver culturally relevant lessons. Engage diverse learners while honoring First Nations education principles over the temporary term from August 20, 2026, to June 11, 2027.

This temporary position requires a Bachelor of Education in English and experience instructing diverse student groups. You will adapt curricula, foster student engagement, and promote inclusive strategies. Collaboration with peers and participation in extracurricular activities are essential to enhancing student experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement English curriculum for grades 9 through 12

• Adapt assessments for a variety of learning needs

• Integrate First Nations principles into teaching

Requirements:
