École McTavish High School is searching for a Junior High Humanities & Electives Teacher for a temporary position starting August 2026. Teach and inspire the next generation.

Candidates should possess a Bachelor of Education with a major in English/Social Studies and experience in junior high education. You will be responsible for teaching English, social studies, and various electives, all while integrating technology into lessons. Building rapport with students and staff is crucial for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide instruction in English and social studies curriculum

• Develop and implement Individual Program Plans

• Teach a variety of elective courses

Requirements:

• Bachelor of Education specializing in English/Social Studies

• Eligibility for an Alberta Teaching Certificate
