Position: Instructor for English and Social Studies

Become a full-time instructor at PRINCETON SECONDARY SCHOOL for English 10, Social Studies 11, and First People’s English 11 starting September 1, 2026. Empower students through tailored education.

The Nicola Similkameen School District is looking for a qualified educator to enhance the learning experience for diverse students. Candidates must hold a valid BC Teaching Certificate and have experience in adapting curricula for various needs. You will work collaboratively to support the social-emotional development of your students while fostering inclusive classroom dynamics.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach courses in English 10 and Social Studies 11

• Tailor learning materials to diverse student needs

• Support collaborative team efforts for effective teaching

• Nurture social-emotional needs within the classroom

• Cultivate strong relationships with students, parents, and staff

Requirements:

• BC Teaching Certificate in good standing

• Relevant teaching experience with grade-level students

• Understanding of BC Curriculum requirements

• Teaching category five or higher

• Commitment to fostering inclusive learning environments
