Location: Peace River
Contribute to personalized K-12 education as a Substitute Teacher at Northland Online School during the school year. This role focuses on enriching student learning experiences.
Northland School Division is seeking passionate educators to support the online school’s unique curriculum. As a Substitute Teacher, you’ll follow educational programs, develop lesson plans, and engage with parents for meaningful feedback. Your commitment to Cree language and culture revitalization will enhance community connection and support diverse learning approaches.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement prescribed curriculum for subjects taught
• Design and execute engaging lesson plans
• Give timely and constructive feedback to students and families
• Advocate for Cree language and culture in lessons
• Encourage engagement between school, parents, and community
Requirements:
• Eligible for Alberta teaching certification and Teaching Quality Standard
• Bachelor of Education (BEd.) required
• Teaching experience in rural or Indigenous contexts
Support holistic educational practices as a Substitute Teacher at Northland Online School.
