Position: Full-Time Teacher for Grades 3/4 Opportunity
Location: Smithers

Join the Kyah Wiget Education Society as a full-time Grades 3/4 Teacher at Witset Elementary School in Witset, BC, for the  school year. Support young learners with innovative educational practices in a collaborative environment.

This role seeks educators with a Bachelor's degree and an active teacher's certification who are committed to professional growth. Ideal candidates will have experience in primary education and a focus on meeting individual student needs using current teaching strategies. Creating meaningful connections within the school community is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging lessons based on current educational practices

• Develop curricula tailored to students' diverse needs

• Employ technology to improve learning outcomes

• Coordinate and facilitate extra-curricular activities

• Attend professional development and collaboration meetings

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree and good standing with College of Teachers

• Experience or training in primary-level teaching

• Proven collaborative skills with parents and staff

• Knowledge of local First Nations culture

• Enthusiasm for teaching and fostering student growth
