Location: Ontario Centre (Queensville)
Join Simcoe County District School Board as a Planning Time Teacher for 0.2 FTE on Day 3. Engage in effective instruction and class management to foster student growth.
This role involves collaborating with the principal and ensuring a positive learning environment on a part-time basis. The successful candidate will deliver effective instruction, oversee class progress, and prepare lesson plans as required. A commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion in teaching practices is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare teaching plans and submit as required
• Manage classroom and maintain discipline consistently
• Evaluate student progress and provide reports
• Assist in community cooperation initiatives
• Participate in regular parent meetings
Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of teaching experience
• Ability to foster inclusive classroom environments
• Commitment to safety in all educational activities
• Strong collaborative skills with staff and community
• Familiarity with provincial reporting guidelines
