Position: Substitute Teacher or Emergency Substitute Teacher (Temporary) (Churchill Falls)
Location: North/Western Labrador (Churchill Falls)

Hydro is seeking a Substitute Teacher or Emergency Substitute Teacher to support Eric G. Lambert School, a K-12 private school in Churchill Falls, for the  academic year. This is a temporary position that requires the candidate to reside in Churchill Falls.

Key Responsibilities   Provide educational support to all students from Kindergarten to Grade 12.
Ensure students' safety and personal care needs are met.
Promote and observe the Corporation’s Safety and Health Program for personal and co‑worker safety.
Address environmental aspects of the job and perform work in an environmentally responsible manner.
Qualifications and Requirements   University degree from a recognized post‑secondary institution, preferably a Bachelor of Education degree or equivalent.
Valid NL teaching certificate.
For Emergency Substitute roles: minimum of a 4‑year university degree and/or a 3‑year college diploma.
Ability to work across all grade levels (Kindergarten to Grade 12).
Recent criminal background check and vulnerable sector check required.
No relocation provided; candidate must live in Churchill Falls.
