Northland School Division is in search of dedicated Substitute Teachers for the  school year. In this position, you will be responsible for planning lessons, providing constructive feedback, and engaging with the community. An emphasis on revitalizing Cree language and cultural aspects within education is crucial for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Adhere to the prescribed program of studies per subject

• Structure daily lessons with educational goals in mind

• Deliver regular feedback to students and parents

• Promote the infusion of Cree culture in educational plans

• Strengthen ties between school and community for better engagement

Requirements:

• Hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification

• Must have a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree

• Experience teaching in rural or Indigenous environments
