AMDSB is looking for passionate Emergency Teacher Candidates to provide essential classroom coverage for grades 9-12. This role is ideal for individuals enrolled in their Concurrent Education Programs. Key Responsibilities:

• Substitute for regular teachers during absences

• Create engaging learning experiences for students

• Effectively manage classroom behavior

• Collaborate with other educators for lesson delivery

• Utilize G-Suite and Microsoft Office for classroom tasks

Requirements:

• Concurrent Education Program participation (Years 1-4)

• Excellent English communication skills

• Criminal Background Check with Vulnerable Sector screening

• Readiness to respond to short-notice teaching needs

• Demonstration of strong classroom management skills
