Position: Geraldton Occasional Teacher Role
Location: Lake Superior North Shore (Marathon)

Become an essential part of education as an Occasional Teacher for the Superior-Greenstone District School Board in Geraldton. You will substitute across two schools and actively participate in professional development.

In this role, you will cover for absent teachers at B.A. Parker and Marjorie Mills schools, ensuring students receive a quality educational experience. Traveling between schools will be necessary, and you may be called upon for lesson planning. Your consistent attendance and previous teaching experience will contribute to a stable learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Substitute effectively for absent teachers

• Navigate between B.A. Parker and Marjorie Mills schools

• Participate in designated professional development days

• Fulfill assigned duties with care

• Assist in lesson planning as needed

Requirements:

• Ontario College of Teachers' Certificate of Qualification

• Accessible vehicle with valid driver’s license

• History of consistent attendance

• Familiarity with lesson planning recommended

• Comply with LTO Leave Perks
