Join the SRCE team as a Lead Early Childhood Educator, focusing on the Pre-primary Program in Antigonish. Drive educational development using the Nova Scotia Early Learning Curriculum Framework.

In this vital role, you will lead efforts to create a secure, engaging, and dynamic learning environment for young children. Collaboration with Pre-primary and community staff is essential in adapting educational practices to support individual children's growth and learning needs. Your leadership will advocate for inclusivity and responsiveness within the classroom setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish welcoming and stimulating learning environments

• Partner with colleagues to define roles and procedures

• Observe children to tailor educational experiences

• Create responsive curricula aligned with children's interests

• Maintain active communication with families about their children

Requirements:

• Degree or diploma in early childhood education required

• At least 3-5 years of relevant early learning experience

• Strong management of diverse needs and developmental practices

• Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

• Current first aid and document management skills
