Position: West Meadow School Assistant Role
Location: Kananaskis Country (Claresholm)

Enhance learning at West Meadow Elementary School in Claresholm, Alberta, as a Temporary Educational Assistant. Join a team focused on a student-centered environment where children thrive.

This temporary position starts August 26th, 2026, to June 25th, 2027. Candidates should have expertise in child development and experience working with children aged 5–12. The role involves supporting play-driven learning and creating an inclusive space while cooperating with educators and administrators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Implement play-based learning strategies

• Assist with children’s toileting and diapering

• Liaise with the Early Learning Coordinator

• Foster inclusivity within the school environment

• Attend professional learning workshops

Requirements:

• Level 1 Early Childhood Educator or commitment to obtaining

• Valid Police Information and Intervention Record Checks

• Familiarity with child development principles

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• First Aid certification preferred
