Position: Educational Assistant for Early Learning
Location: Eastern Alberta (St. Paul)

Northern Lights Public Schools invites applications for an Educational Assistant and Early Childhood Assistant at Caslan School. This full-time role is dedicated to enhancing student learning, social skills, and personal care support in a vibrant team setting.

This part-time position, beginning in the  school year, combines responsibilities across educational support and early childhood development. The successful candidate will demonstrate compassion and enthusiasm for helping children thrive academically and socially while collaborating closely with educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support individual student learning and behavior needs

• Assist with personal and self-help care tasks

• Work within a collaborative team approach in the classroom

• Implement individualized educational plans for diverse learning styles

• Employ effective communication strategies to assist students

Requirements:

• Child Development Worker Certification - Level 1 minimum

• Experience in educational or childcare settings preferred

• Current First Aid Certification required

• Knowledge of effective learning strategies

• Dedication to fostering children's growth and well-being
