Support student learning as an Educational Assistant at Kinuso School in Alberta. Collaborate with teachers to implement educational programs for students, including those with diverse needs.

Kinuso School, serving 250 students from kindergarten to Grade 12, is seeking an Educational Assistant. You'll facilitate classroom activities, help with individual program plans, and promote students’ independence and social skills.

Your role will include monitoring student progress, adapting lessons, and assisting with field trips to create a nurturing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in implementing Individual Program Plans under teacher guidance

• Provide data for student evaluations and alert teachers to concerns

• Adapt activities to meet student capabilities

• Support students in maintaining classroom discipline

• Encourage social interaction among students

Requirements:

• Cover letter and resume submission

• Recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Check

• Early Childhood Training or Teacher Assistant Certificate preferred

• Experience with special needs students is an asset

• Excellent communication skills required
