Student Pathways Coordinator at St. Francis Xavier

Location: Canso region (Havre Boucher)

Take the lead in supporting student success as the Youth Employment and Student Pathways Coordinator ncis Xavier University. This full-time role focuses on experiential learning and career readiness initiatives.

In this strategic position with the Centre for Experiential Learning, you will drive student engagement and career development by coordinating programming and events. Your enthusiasm for experiential learning will support the Youth Employment Initiative, enhancing career readiness for historically underrepresented student populations. Work collaboratively with faculty, alumni, and employers to ensure a comprehensive approach to career exploration and self-discovery in higher education.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate student workshops and engagement activities

• Assist with the Youth Employment Initiative administration

• Monitor student participation and support during placements

• Develop resources and communications for students

• Facilitate logistics for the XPLORE program and events

Requirements:

• Background in career development or student affairs

• Strong organizational and communication skills

• Experience in coordinating student initiatives

• Familiarity with experiential learning programs

• Initiative and problem-solving abilities
