Engaging Kindergarten Educator Position

Location: Southeastern Alberta (Drumheller)

Join J.C. Charyk Hanna School as an engaging Kindergarten Educator. This part-time role focuses on creating a supportive environment that nurtures young learners' unique needs.

We are looking for a passionate teacher who can inspire and support children in their developmental journey. In this position, you will develop and deliver lessons based on the Alberta Kindergarten curriculum, ensuring that each child feels valued and engaged. Your strong communication skills will help you connect with students, families, and fellow educators.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement lesson plans for Kindergarten

• Assess student outcomes and progress

• Foster collaborative relationships with families

• Create meaningful learning experiences for young students

• Support literacy and numeracy growth in a nurturing setting

Requirements:

• Valid Alberta Teaching Certificate necessary

• Previous training in Early Childhood Development preferred

• Ability to connect with diverse learners

• Strong verbal and interpersonal skills

• Satisfactory Criminal Record and Child Intervention Checks required
