Join Fernwood Neighbourhood House as a full-time Early Childhood Educator in Victoria, BC. This role is vital for providing holistic support and emergent curriculum development.

As an Early Childhood Educator, you will engage directly with children, promoting their social, emotional, and cognitive growth. We're seeking someone passionate about family-centered practices with a strong ability to implement play-based learning. Ideal candidates will thrive in collaborative settings and demonstrate patience and enthusiasm.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and assess play-based educational activities

• Support social-emotional development through guidance

• Ensure health, safety, and cleanliness supervision

• Build a nurturing environment that includes all children

• Communicate effectively with families about their child's progress

Requirements:

• Valid BC ECE Certificate

• At least 1 year working in licensed childcare

• Must be First Aid certified

• Strong communication skills necessary for family engagement

• Capacity for teamwork and initiative in the workplace
