Join Erickson Elementary in Creston, BC as a Grade 1/2 Classroom Teacher for the  term. This vital position begins on September 1, 2026, and continues until June 30, 2027.

We are looking for a dedicated classroom teacher with a valid British Columbia Professional Teaching Certificate. This term position arises from a leave of absence, and you will play an essential role in fostering student growth and engagement. Collaborating with staff and students, you will create an environment that encourages academic excellence in grades 1 and 2.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons for grades 1 and 2

• Assess student progress and adapt strategies accordingly

• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment

• Communicate effectively with parents and staff

• Participate in professional development opportunities

Requirements:

• Certified in British Columbia with a Professional Teaching Certificate

• Eligible for certification by start date
