The Department of Educational Foundations in the College of Education and the Gwenna Moss Centre for Teaching and Learning invite applications for an Out-of-Scope Sessional Lecturer to teach the following community-based courses during the following session(s).
Fall 2026 & Winter 2027 Sessions
Course 1:
EFDT 301.3 (E11) Educator Identity in Contexts Anti Oppressive and Ethical Beginnings
Term and Course Dates: Term 1 (September 1, 2026 to December 31, 2026)

Delivery Mode: Lecture (Live in-person in Beauval, SK).

Schedule:
Actual days/times to be determined in consultation with the successful applicant at the discretion of program. Monday to Friday 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM; no evenings or weekends without special permission.
Expected Enrollment Limit: 35
Location:
Beauval, SK (approx. 4hrs N of Saskatoon)
Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master’s degree or equivalent in Education or a related discipline and/or possession of relevant teaching or professional experience. Applicants must demonstrate a commitment to engaging with Indigenous ways of knowing and to fostering respectful, reciprocal learning environments. They must also possess knowledge and understanding of First Nations, Métis, and Inuit culture as well as indigenization and the decolonization of pedagogy to uplift and support Indigenous students.
Course 2:
EFDT 313.3 (E12) Pedagogies of Place Context Based Learning
Term and Course Dates: Term 2 (January 1, 2027 to April 30, 2027)
